My journey in the kitchen began in my hometown of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), guided by my grandfather, a lifelong chef who traveled the world and supported our family through his incredible skill. He was my first teacher, showing me that cooking is, above all, a language of love. Alongside my mom, I later learned the delicate art of baking.
Those early experiences led me to pursue formal culinary training at the Kendall College Institute of Culinary Arts, where I refined my skills and deepened my appreciation for precision and flavor. For over a decade, the kitchen remained my private sanctuary, a place of happiness and peace where I could slow down and create. Baking was never a job to me; it was how I showed love to my family and friends.
Encouraged by those who tasted my creations, I realized I was ready to transform my hobby into a profession. I founded Fouet & Co. to share the fusion of my two worlds: the technical precision of French patisserie and the vibrant, nostalgic flavors of my Brazilian roots.
